The Astaldi Group Treasury system has relied on a Piteco solutions since 2004. It was chosen following a large-scale software selection process, as it was the software most used by companies in our business area and seemed to be the right solution to meet the specific operating requirements of our group Treasury. Our desire to continue implementing this system stems from its capacity to evolve, with the creation and integration of specific modules that were developed and integrated to meet the needs of our Finance Area.
The main benefits achieved were those of combining the complete management of all processes within a single application, from planning to reporting, even including the management of authorisation workflows, with full visibility of historical and forecast cash flows and complete transparency with respect to transactions as well as bank costs. I would also say having full control over financial leverage in order to improve daily operations and business growth processes; integrating the various activities of Finance Department services and interfacing with Remote Banking (of which it is an integral part) and the company ERP system.
Thanks to Piteco, today we are optimising decisions about financial sources with the automation of many functions such as checks, reconciliation, the prime entry and automatic processes, rendering seamlessly fluid the daily operations of colleagues across all geographical areas worldwide where the system is in place: Italy, Algeria, Canada, Poland, USA, Chile, Peru, Turkey, Panama, Romania and Georgia.
